Ensure that the ladder is clean, dry and fully retracted when storing it.
If you do not intend to use the entire length of the ladder,
extend the ladder in such a way that the rungs you do not
need are at the top.
Rest the ladder against the wall at a proper angle. You can
easily verify this by placing your feet in front of the ladder's
lower end and grabbing the ladder's holmes with both your
arms held at a horizontal angle.
Never place your feet higher than the fourth rung from the
top and hold on to the stiles firmly for your own safety and
comfort. When using the ladder in a partially extended state
(with the unextended section on top), do not place your feet
higher than the fourth rung from the top (the unextended
section is considered the first rung).
After using the ladder, retract it by pressing the lowermost
release buttons with one hand and guiding the ladder
downwards with the other hand placed further up.
Ensure that your hands are more than two rungs apart
so that they do not get caught between rungs.
Transport the ladder in a fully retracted state; carry it
under your arm with your hand on the handle underneath
the second rung.
