Thermal
Considerations
Electronic
components
in
the
Z
‐
5132
will
generate
heat
during
the
course
of
their
operation.
Operating
the
Z
‐
5132
in
continuous
mode
for
an
extended
period
may
cause
temperatures
to
rise
on
MPU
and
decoder
chip.
Overheating
can
degrade
image
quality
and
affect
scanning
performance.
Given
that,
the
following
precautions
should
be
taken
into
consideration
when
integrating
the
Z
‐
5132.
1.
Reserve
sufficient
space
for
good
air
circulation
in
the
design.
2.
Avoid
wrapping
the
Z
‐
5132
with
thermal
insulation
materials
such
as
rubber.
3.
Increase
the
thermal
strategy
to
reduce
the
scanning
engine
continuous
operating
temperature.
