grooves for easy identification (see illustration above).
XiVE Depth Stops are manually mounted and removed from the XiVE Drill’s cutting
end. No additional instruments are necessary.

TAps
In very dense cortical bone, pre-tapping for the implant threads is required in the
crestal area after the initial 6 mm deep crestal twist drill preparation. The XiVE Tap
is used to reduce the crestal torque levels reached during implant insertion.
