Non-manufacturer modification and spare part production
Modifications or alterations of the machine are only permitted after consultation with the manufacturer. Original spare parts and accessories
authorized by the manufacturer ensure safety. The use of other parts can invalidate any liability of the manufacturer for consequential
damage.
2.8
Unauthorized usage
The safety of the delivered pump is only guaranteed by usage according to the section 1 – General - of the instructions. The listed maximum
ratings as per specification should under no circumstances be exceeded. The improper use of the pump, i.e. pumping of air or explosive
media is strictly forbidden.
Also, this booster- kit, as a fully automatic utensil may need supervision from time to time and ensure if left
inactive for long periods that the electrical supply to the pump is switch off.

Description
3.1
Description pump MP
The pumps MP are equipped with a robust AC motor. Alternatively, the MP 450 pump can also be equipped with a robust three-phase
motor. The pump housing is sealed to the motor with a mechanical seal. The scope of delivery of the booster units MPD includes an
electronic pressure switch with dry-running protection. The booster-sets HMP are ready for operation with diaphragm vessel and
electronic pressure switch. The electrical connection of the AC pumps is made by means of the 1.5 m long connecting cable to a socket
with 230 V- 50 Hz earthing contact. The pumps with three-phase motor are supplied without cable and must be connected to the mains
by a thermal overload relay and a contactor. The thermal winding sensor must be looped into the control circuit in such a way that the
contactor interrupts the power supply to the pump when the temperature sensor (break contact) responds. For three-phase pumps, it is
essential to check the direction of rotation by switching on the pump briefly before commissioning. The direction of rotation of the
outgoing pump can be checked on the fan wheel. The direction of rotation must match the direction of rotation arrow on the pump. If the
direction of rotation is not correct, 2 phases must be interchanged in the terminal box of the pump..
-
This pump must be connected to an earthed outlet.
-
Do not lower or lift the pump by means of the power cable.
-
A damaged power cable must be replaced immediately by a qualified electrician. Danger of personal injury by electrical
shock if operated with a damaged cable!
-
If the pump is connected to an electric installation where an earth-leakage circuit breaker (CB) is used as an additional
protection, this circuit breaker must trip out when earth fault current exceeds 30mA.
-
The pump must not drop in water and also not submersible.
-
Any operation of the pump next to a swimming pool or garden pond is only permitted if the unit is installed in accordance
to local legislations.
It is strictly forbidden to swim while using the pump in the swimming pool.
-
If in doubt consult a qualified electrician.

Description booster set MPD
The pumps are equipped with the electronic pressure switch ZP Control AdPro or ZP Control 05 Basic at the discharge port, which
automatically switches the device on and off and, secondly, protects the pump from running dry, so that the system can be used as a
automatically working domestic water station.
The power plug of the pump is connected to the coupling of the pressure switch. By connecting the mains cable (pressure switch) to the mains,
the device takes over the control of the pump.
The pump starts and stops depending on the withdrawal of water, d. H. when closing (for example the faucet) it will be switched off
automatically, after opening and the resulting pressure loss it will be switched on again.
In order to adapt the functions of the pressure switch precisely to your installation situation, use the separate enclosed operating
instructions for the pressure switches ZP Control AdPro or ZP Control 05 Basic!
