Appendix C. Data Transfer
C.1 Model 990 – 992
Appendix C.1 provides information on tooling and process to transfer patient data from the
ATLAS Models 900-992 to the ATLAS 9000 instrument. This process has been developed due
to a lack of connectivity options in the older ATLAS Models.
Additional Tooling Required
Figure C.1 P/N 66301, External Hard Drive Enclosure Tool
Note -
This tool will accept EIDE Drives only, older drives, or those less than 1.2GB
in capacity will not work.
Transfer
Procedure
Step 1: Prepare the ATLAS 900 Series Drive
1.
Remove the internal IDE Hard Drive from the ATLAS 900 series instrument.
Note -
Refer to instrument specific service documentation for detail on this process.
2.
Insert the ATLAS 900 Series Hard Drive into the Enclosure Tool (Figure C.2). Begin by
connecting the Molex power connector (Figure C.3) then slide the drive back into the
fixed IDE connection of the enclosure (Figure C.4).
