Binocular tubes (Fig. 57/27)

The binocular tubes provided allow the interpupillary distance to be individually adjusted and the
viewing height to be adjusted within defined limits
Binocular tube 45°/23 with manual shutter vis

Switch the shutter on or off by turning the
rotary button (Fig. 71/

0 % vis (light shutter)
Binocular phototube 45°/23 with sliding prism
for vis / doc, Bertrand lens and manual vis
shutter (Fig. 72)

Bertrand lens

The Bertrand lens is focused by rotating the
rotary / sliding button (with the Bertrand lens in
position)

50 % vis: 50 % doc
100 % vis: 0 % doc
The binocular phototube camera port is recommended up to 18 mm camera field (related to
intermediate image) e.g. for an Axiocam with 0.63x camera adapter.
