6.2.2 Stand
Select
The
Stand Select
tool permits a new or updated
database to be assigned to the LSM 510 software
program. This function should preferably be
performed by authorized service personnel.
If this is not possible, proceed as follows:
•
Close the LSM 510 software program and double-click on the
Stand Select
icon on the desktop.
−
The
Select Stand Database
window appears on the screen. The currently used database is
displayed in the
Database
box.
•
Click on the
Browse
button to activate the new
database.
−
The
Open
window appears on the screen.
•
Select the directory where the new database is
stored.
•
Click on the name of the database (file
extension:
*.mdb
) and then on the
Open
button.
−
The
Open
window is closed and the name
of the new database appears in the
Database
box.
•
Click on the
Permanent
button. The
Select
Name
window appears.
•
Select the relevant stand icon from the
Icon
list
box and click on
OK
. The
Select Name
window
is closed and the desktop icon is updated.
•
Then click on the
OK
button in the
Select
Stand Database ...
window to accept the new
settings and to close the window. (Clicking on
Cancel
will cancel the procedure.)
−
After the next restart of the LSM
510
software program, the new database will be
automatically read in.
