Superlux Eye illumination system
Problem

Surgical field illumination on
microscope not working.
Thermal cut-out activated.
Remove the cause of over-
heating. For example,
drapes could be covering
the grid. When the lamp
module has cooled down,
the illumination switches on
again.

Selector is set in such a way
that illumination can be
switched on using the foot
control panel.
Switch on illumination using
the foot control panel
(button A or B).

Defective xenon lamp.
Switch to backup lamp.

Keep a new xenon backup
lamp module ready at hand.

Lamp module has no con-
tact.
Insert lamp module as far as
it will go.

Failure of suspension
system electronics.
