See the user instruction for your phone
if this is supported.
1.
A short press on the BT knob will connect the incoming call and end the ongoing call. A short tone is
heard in the headset to conifrm.
2.
Two short presses on the BT knob will connect the incoming call and put the ongoing call on hold. A
short tone is heard in the headset to conifrm.
3.
One short press on the BT knob re-connects the parked call and ends the other. A short tone is heard
in the headset to conifrm.
Adjusting the volume during an ongoing call
1.
Increase the volume by turning the BT knob clockwise.
2.
Decrease the volume by turning the BT knob counter clockwise.
The headset has the function
“
adaptive volume control
”
which adjusts the incoming communication/speech
volume to the ambient sound level. This means that the users themselves do not need to adjust the volume
when working in irregular ambient sound levels. The volume adjusts relative to the originally set volume
level.
Music streaming from a Bluetooth® unit
1.
Start the headset Bluetooth® function (see earlier steps).
2.
Start the music player on the phone (or other unit).
3.
Adjust the volume by turning the BT knob clockwise/counter clockwise.
4.
The master volume is controlled on the phone.
Warning!
Remember to adjust the volume when working in noisy environments so that any warning signals etc. can
be heard.
Indication of broken Bluetooth® link
If
an10
the Bluetooth® link is broken due to exceeded range (more th
meters) two tones will be heard in the
headset.
NOTE! The unit will not automatically connect when within range. Press the BT knob when within range (less
than 10 meters) to re-establish the link. A tone will be heard in the headset to conifrm.
IMPORTANT!
Due to safety reasons, the volume of the FM radio and music streaming is muted at an incoming call
or other communication from the connected unit.
The volume is reset automatically when the communication is ended.
Due to safety reasons, the volume of the Level Dependent function and external sound input is NOT
muted at incoming calls or other communication from the connected unit (if these functions are in
use).
Excessive sound pressure from earphones and headphones may cause hearing loss.
Some phones may not have access to all Bluetooth® functions. In that case these functions have to
be controlled directly on the phone.
The headset has the function
“
side-tone
”
which allows users to hear their own voice in the headset.
This
improves communication in noisy environments and let users talk at a normal speech level.
Low battery warning
When
ins
the battery power is decreasing and approximately 5 % rema
of maximum run time, an audio signal
of 5 shifting tones will be heard in the headset. The batteries should then be changed or charged as soon as
possible. The LED light lfashes purple once and the headset will turn off when the batteries are completely
drained.
Power save function
To avoid unintentionally drainage of the batteries, e.g. if the headset is left on after the working hours, the
headset will automatically be turned off after 6 hours if no settings have been made within the 6-hour period.
Press and hold the BT knob for 3 seconds to restart the Bluetooth® function and resume the connection.
If
the FM radio or Level Dependent function was turned on, each individual volume control (A:12, A:10) must
be turned off and then on again.
