USER INSTRUCTIONS FOR BLUETOOTH
®
FUNCTIONS
You also need access to the user instruction for the Bluetooth® compatible unit (mobile phone etc.)

The hearing protector features level-limiting of audio signals from the
speakers
to maximum 82 dB(A) at the ear.
Pairing with other Bluetooth® unit
Pairing
he
establishes a wireless link for communication between t
units. Pairing is only needed once for
each pair of units. The headsets can store up to 8 different units in its memory.
1.
Start
own the headset Bluetooth® function by pressing and holding d
the Bluetooth® knob (A:14) (from
here on referred to as the BT knob) for 3 seconds. An audio signal with 4 ascending tones is
heard in the headset. The headset LED light (A:15) lfashes red/blue to conifrm
pairing mode. Release the BT knob.
2.
Start
the Bluetooth® function on your phone (or other unit) and search for and connect to new unit. See
the
user instruction for your phone (or other unit). Zekler 412 is shown in the phone
’
s display. If the phone
requires a PIN code, enter four zeros (0000).

An audio signal with 1 tone is heard in the headset when the link is established and ready for
communication. The headset LED lfashes blue.
4.
If the pairing fails, switch off all headset functions and restart again from step 1.
The headset boom microphone (A:7) should be placed approximately 1 cm from the mouth for best
noise suppression and clear speech intelligibility. Make sure the microphone is facing the mouth
(A:7b).
When Bluetooth® pairing has been activated, the link is automatically established with the headset next time
the
onifrmed
hearing protection is switched on. The connection link is c
with an audio signal in the headset
and the LED lfashes blue.
Turning off the Bluetooth® function
Press and hold the BT knob for 6 seconds. An audio signal with 4 descending tones is heard in the headset
conifrming the Bluetooth® function is turned off.
Answer/End/Refuse call
Most phones send their own call signal to the headset. If not, 4 shifting tones are heard in the headset at
incoming calls.

Answer a call by pressing short on the BT knob. 2 ascending tones conifrm that the call is connected
2.
End a call by pressing short on the BT knob. 1 short tone conifrms that the call is disconnected.
3.
To refuse a call, press and hold the BT knob for 3 seconds. 2 descending tones conifrm the call is
refused.
Redial last dialled number
2 short presses on the BT knob redials the last dialled number.

Press and hold the BT knob for 2 seconds and release the BT knob.
2.
Speak your voice dial command.
Most phones that support voice-controlled dialling will send an acknowledgment signal when to speak
your voice dial command.
Transferring calls to/from a phone
1.
Press the BT knob for 1 second to transfer the call to the phone. A short tone will conifrm the call is
transferred to the phone.
2.
Press the BT knob for 1 second to transfer the call back to the headset.
