10
Current water temperature is displayed on the LCD
(7a) during kettle operation. When water has boiled or has
reached the set temperature the appliance turns off automa
-
tically and three beeps will be heard. The water temperature
is displayed on the LCD (7a) for 15 minutes and then the
display turns off.

The kettle maintains the set temperature in the range of
3°C – 5°C. When the actual water temperature exceeds the

All settings will be reset when you remove the ket

not need to unplug it from the wall outlet.
Kettle features thermal protection. If you turn

once it has cooled down (after approximately
15 minutes), remove it from the base, fill with
water, replace on the base and press the
button. Do not fill the hot kettle with cold water
- wait until it cools down.
Cleaning and maintenance
Always allow the kettle to cool down com
-
pletely before cleaning!
1
Unplug the kettle from the mains.
2
Remove the filter
(8)
and rinse it under running water.
3
Clean the outside surfaces with a soft damp cloth
and washing-up liquid.
In order to remove the build-up of hard water film from the
outside and inside walls of the kettle, wipe them with a damp
cloth and vinegar.
4
Rinse the kettle with clean water. Before putting the
device away, dry all of its parts.
Various deposits can form on the sides of the
kettle, and they can also get into the water. This
is because of the presence of minerals natu
-
rally occurring in water (calcium, magnesium,
iron, etc.). These discolourations are not the
result of malfunction and do not cause pro
-
blems for using the device. If larger amounts
of deposits form, they should be removed (see
“Dissolving limescale deposits”).
