using exclusively original Zelmer accessories. They have
been specially designed for this product.

Please read this user manual carefully and make sure
you understand it.

Risk of property damage
Before

rst use, remove all packaging material and

protective
fi
lm from the hob.
Intensive or long-term use of the appliance may require
●
additional ventilation, e.g. opening the windows or
increasing the effectiveness of mechanical ventilation,
if available.
Do not install the hob in the vicinity of cooling devices
●
and/or
fl
ammable materials (curtains, towels, etc.).
Cookware base diameter should always be larger
●
than the diameter of the burner crown on which the
cookware is to be used.
Do not let the power cord touch any hot surfaces.
●
Always use original nozzles, knobs and pan supports,
●
available from authorised service centres.
Do not leave the appliance unattended with burners
●
on, especially when frying, as overheated fat may
catch
fi
re.
Do not use abrasive detergents such as emulsions,
●
cream cleaners, polishes, etc. for cleaning the hob.
They may remove the graphic information symbols,
such as markings, warning signs, etc.
The appliance and its external elements become hot
●
when the hob is operated. Never touch any heating
elements. Children under 8 may use the appliance only
if constantly supervised.
Watch out when water boils to prevent burners from
●
fl
ooding.

Tips and Information about the Product and
its Use
This appliance is intended for household use only. The
●
warranty conditions change if the appliance is used for
catering business purposes.
The appliance may only be used indoors.
●
When operating the hob for the
fi
rst time, a small
●
amount of smoke and unpleasant odour may come out
of the hob.
Never store any perishable food, plastic objects
●
or aerosols above or below the hob, because high
temperature may affect their quality.

Do not use aerosols near the hob.

Never use the appliance to heat rooms, or liquids and
●
materials that are harmful or volatile.
Never use any plastic or aluminium cookware on the
●
hob.
If the surface of the hob is damaged, immediately
●
unplug the appliance to avoid the risk of electric shock.
Do not operate the appliance if the power cord is
●
damaged or if there is visible damage to the housing.
If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by
●
the manufacturer, a service agent or a quali
fi
ed person
in order to avoid a hazard.
The appliance can only be repaired by quali
fi
ed service
●
personnel. Improper servicing may pose serious
hazard to the user.
In case of defects please contact a quali
fi
ed ZELMER

service centre.
Some elements become hot when the hob is operated.
●
Do not touch hot surfaces of the appliance. Risk of
●
burns! Allow the appliance to cool before cleaning.
Unattended cooking on a hob with fat or oil can
●
be dangerous and may result in
fi
re. NEVER try to
extinguish a
fi
re with water. Switch off the appliance
and then cover the
fl
ame with, e.g. a lid,
fi
re blanket
or similar item.
This appliance can be used by children aged from
●
8 years and above and persons with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience
and knowledge if they have been given supervision or
instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe
way and understand the hazards involved. Children
shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user
maintenance shall not be made by children unless they
are aged from 8 years and above and supervised.
Using the gas hob causes heat and moisture in the
●
room where it is installed. Ensure good ventilation of
the kitchen – keep open natural ventilation holes, or
install mechanical ventilation equipment (ventilation
hood with mechanical exhaust).
