Please read these instructions for use carefully. Particular attention should be paid to the safety instructions aimed at preventing
accidents and/or avoiding damage to the appliance during use. Keep the instructions so that they can be used during later use.
TIPS ON SAFETY AND PROPER USE OF THE FOOD DRYER

The dryer is designed for home use only.
.
Only connect the food dryer to a 230 VAC outlet.
.
Do not pull the plug out of the socket by pulling by the cord.
.
Do not start the appliance if the power cord or parts of the
appliance are damaged. In this case, return the appliance to
a service center.

Do not operate the appliance if the power cord, compo-
nents or housing of the ventilation and heating unit is
damaged.
In the event of any faults, we recommend that you
contact a specialist service center. If the power cord
gets damaged, in order to avoid a hazard it should be
replaced at the manufacturer's facility or in a specialist
repair shop, or by a qualified person. The appliance may
be repaired by trained personnel only. Incorrectly
executed repair work can cause serious danger to the
user.

Do not remove the working components while the food
dryer is in operation.
.
Be careful not to wet the plug of the supplying cord.
.
The temperature of accessible surfaces may be high when
the appliance is operating.
.
Do not immerse the food dryer, power cord, heat-and-venti-
lation unit and plug in water or any other liquid. It may result
in electric shock, bodily injury or damage to the appliance.
Do not wash the appliance under running water.
.
Do not place drying trays containing products dripping with
water on the heat-and ventilation unit.
.
If water gets inside the heat-and-ventilation unit and comes
into contact with any electrical components, make sure to dry
the appliance thoroughly before plugging it into electrical
outlet.

Do not use aggressive detergents in the form of emulsions,
abrasive compounds, pastes, etc. for washing external
elements, because these may, among other things, remove
graphic information symbols such as markings, warning
signs, etc.

The appliance
is not
intended to be operated by children
and persons with limited physical, sensory or mental abilities,
or a lack of knowledge or experience, unless they are
supervised or instructed on the use of this appliance by a
person responsible for their safety.

Never leave the appliance unattended while in use.

Before use, take the entire appliance and attachments from
the package.

Wash the components thoroughly prior to using the
appliance for the first time.
.
The manufacturer is not liable for damages caused by
non-intended use or improper operation of the food dryer.

Do not wash components of the unit in an automatic
dishwasher. Hand-wash them with liquid detergent and
leave to dry.
