Frequently Ask Questions
Why is the Heating System turning on and off repeatedly, but not heating the
water?
Why does the temperature feel much warmer than the Temperature
Control is set to and is reading?
Secure the Temperature Controller (#6) sensor tip into the built-in holder at the left rear
of the Tank Interior.
Why does the provided GFCI protector keep tripping?
Nuisance tripping may be caused by one or several of the following items:
● Non-grounded outlets
● Too many appliances on one GFCI circuit
● Coiled extension cords (long lengths)
● Electromagnetic-induced current near high-voltage lines
● Portable GFCI plugged into a GFCI-protected branch circuit
If your GFCI continues to trip we suggest contacting a certified electrician to check your
home’s electrical system status.
Why does my Tank panel slowly leak air?
On rare occasions the air valves on your Tank may become untightened through
forceful turning of the valve cap. If there is a slow air leaking in one of your panels, use
the provided Air Valve Wrench (#20) to adjust the air valve following these steps:
● Deflate the affected panel
● With one hand, hold the backside of the air valve from the inner side of the Tank
panel
● Place the Air Valve Wrench (#20)
● Turn the Air Valve Wrench (#20) clockwise
● Test for leaks after adjusting by wetting the outer part of the valve with a soap
and water mixture and watching for any air bubbles
Why does my Tank have bulges on the interior of the Tank walls?
Bulges on the opposite of a panel from an Air Valve are normal due to the drop-stitch
construction.
Why are my International Tank components missing plug ends?
When the Tank is installed you will need to contract a professional electrician to wire on
your plug ends and install a GFCI/RCD device for safety - Failure to do so will void the
1-year mechanical component warranty.
Why can I see light around the door when I’m inside?
With the door closed adjust the neoprene to fill any gaps and block out the light.
