6 Changing measurements
of the Fitform ZEN Care Chair
If desired, a technically skilled person can change the below measurements of the Fitform
ZEN Care Chair. Wellco cannot be held liable for any damage resulting from the incorrect
execution of these instructions.
6.1 Changing the seat height
The seat height range is 40 to 60 cm measured from the floor
to the top of the seat. The seat height is correct when a flat
hand can be slid between the bottom of the back of the knee
and the seat.
• Move the chair to the stand-up position.
• Tilt the chair to one of the sides. (Please be careful where
to put the hand control!).
• Loosen the 4 slide block screws: 2x on the left side en 2x
on the right side.
• Set slide blocks to the required height.
• Tighten the screws.
• Adjust the length of the legrest.
• Move up the chair again and position the chair in the
neutral position.
6.2 Changing the seat depth
The seat depth is adjustable in 6 different depths, measured
from the front of the backrest to the front of the seat: 43 –
45 – 47 – 49 – 51 – 53 cm. The seat depth is correct when at
least a flat hand can be slid between the back of the knee and
the front of the seat.
• Loosen flap on the back.
• Loosen back frame hinge bolts.
• Adjust back hinge to the required seat depth: in
increments of 2 cm.
• Re-install hinge bolts into the seat frame.
6.3 Changing the armrest height
The armrest height is infinitely adjustable from 19 cm to 27 cm, measured from the top of
the seat to the top of the armrest.
• Open the zipper on the side panel of the chair.
• Find the grip bolt inside and unscrew it.
• Now you can adjust the armrest height.
• Tighten the grip bolt again and close the zipper.
6.4 Changing the length of the legrest
The length of the legrest corresponds to the seat height.
When the seat height is increased by 2 cm, the legrest must
be extended by 2 cm. If the seat height is lowered by 2 cm, the
legrest must also be shortened by 2 cm.
• Use the hand control to let the legrest come out.
• Loosen the flap on the back and on the side (both fixed
with Velcro).
• Loosen the U-profile side screws.
• Adjust the legrest to the required dimensions.
• Tighten the screws and attach the flaps.
NOTE:
The legrest must not touch the floor in collapsed
position (minimum distance to the ground: 1 cm.).
