SET TING THE DAY
AND MOON PHASES
DAY PHASE
The day phase, which is represented by the sun for
daytime and a starry sky for night-time, is linked
to the time of day. It can therefore be set in the
same way as the time by pulling the crown out to
position (1).
NIGHT PHASE
To set the moon phase without damaging the
movement, the hands must be in the lower part of
the dial, between 3 o'clock and 9 o'clock. Position
the full moon in the centre of its window by
pressing the corrector (X) several times using the
Zenith Time Tool. Using the lunar calendar, find the
last full moon and count the number of days up to
the present day. Press the corrector (X) the same
number of times.
