Remote Control Device Programming
Program the remote to operate a variety of Audio/ Video devices
The device you want to program should be
turned On.
Refer to the brand programming codes on
pages 63 - 67 to find the type of product
and brand name of the device you're pro-
gramming. Write down the three-number
codes.
Press and hold the PRG key. (It’s recessed so
it doesn’t get pushed accidentally.) When
the Red LED (indicator light) turns On,
release the key.
Press the key with the name of the device
you’re programming (VCR, CABLE, AUX, TV).
Red LED blinks.
Using the NUMBER keypad, enter the three-
number code found on the charts on pages
63 - 67. Red LED blinks.
Press ENTER to save the code The Red LED
indicator light will blink two times and turn
Off if the code was accepted.
Point the remote at the device and push the
POWER key. The device should turn Off. If
not, try the other codes listed and continue
from Step 3.
Programming the Zenith remote will allow
you to use one remote to work up to 4 differ-
ent devices, if all remote operating modes are
programmed!
Not all devices are controllable by your Zenith
remote.
