Option Menu Options (Continued)
Aspect Ratio
Lets you choose the screen format. When you view a picture with a wide
(16:9) aspect ratio at 480i or 480p mode output format, you can choose
Letter Box, Cropped, or Squeezed. When you view a picture with a normal
(4:3) aspect ratio at 720p or 1080i mode output format, you can choose
Normal, Wide, Spectacle, Zoom1, or Zoom2. When you view a picture with a
wide (16:9) aspect ratio at 720p or 1080i mode output format, you can
choose 16:9 (Wide) or 4:3 (Normal).

• If program format is High Definition (16:9) and the display format selected
is 1080i or 720p, the Aspect Ratio is set only at Normal or Wide .
• If program format is Standard Definition (4:3) and the display format
selected is 480i or 480p, the Aspect Ratio is set only at Cropped.
