POWER
Turns product On or Off.
2.
TV, VCR/DVD
Selects product to be operated.
QUIT
Used to
exit menu functions.
3.
CHANNEL UP/DOWN
Changes the channels.
CHAPTER
+/- controls DVD/CD track selection i.e. DVD/CD Track Skip
Up/Down (in DVD and SAT modes). Note the
VCR
buttons also
control DVD when in DVD Mode.
4.
VOLUME UP/DOWN
Changes the volume level of the prod-
uct, normally the TV.
5.
PREV. CHAN
Returns to the previously selected channel, or
DVD repeat toggle.
6.
SLEEP
Turns off the TV after a period of 1 to 99 minutes.
7.
NUMBERS
Enter numbers for direct channel selection. Some
products require Enter to be pressed after channel selection.
8.
ENTER
Used after direct channel number entry to immediately
change to the selected channel.
9.
SCAN
+ and
SCAN
- buttons control the speed of Fast Forward
and Reverse Playback respectively in DVD mode.
10.
RECORD, PLAY, STOP, REW, FF, PAUSE
VCR control
buttons operate your VCR even when the remote is set to operate
the TV. Also operates DVD Scan -/+.
11.
TV/VCR/INPUT
For some TVs, press repeatedly to select from
available viewing sources (antenna, cable box, VCR, etc.).
12.
CC (SUBTITLE)
TV Closed Caption (if your TV has this
feature) or DVD Subtitle toggle.
13.
INFO
Displays/selects on-screen channel information, etc.
14.
MENU IN/OUT
Toggles in and out of menu mode. Accesses the
Menu functions of the device you are controlling.
15.
MUTE
Turns off the TV sound while the picture remains. OK
Selects menu items for the device you are controlling.
16.
CODE SEARCH
Used for setup.
17.
Red Indicator
Lights when any button is pressed.
MENU IN/OUT
The Menu In/Out button allows you to toggle in and out of Menu
Mode. Pressing Menu In/Out brings up your device Menu. While in
Menu mode the remote’s red indicator light blinks continuously. The
remote will exit Menu Mode after 20 seconds if no keys are pressed.
While Menu Mode is active, the Menu, Channel, Volume, Mute and
Mode keys perform the following functions:
MENU IN/OUT
Exits/Enters Menu mode.
CHANNEL UP/DOWN
Up/Down commands for onscreen Menu
navigation.
VOLUME UP/DOWN
Right/Left commands for onscreen Menu
navigation.
MUTE OK
command for on-screen Menu selection.
TV Mode Key
Quit, Exit or Clear command to quit onscreen Menu
and return the remote to normal operation (red indicator is now off).
Note this action is also available by pressing any Mode key.
