Parental Control
This setting enables you to password-protect your
box to, for example, prevent children from watching
TV when they aren’t allowed to. Go to
Setup
>
Parental
Control
to set the lock. To access this setting you need
the PIN code that is set at the factory. This code is
1234
.
You can turn the lock on and off for either the entire
box or for only specific channels.
Change your PIN code
It is possible to change the lock code from the factory
(
1234
) to another 4 digit numerical combination.
If you choose your own PIN code, you should write it
down and store it so that you can find it if necessary.
In an emergency you can call Customer Service.
Reinstallation resets the PIN to factory settings.
