Error Messages
Memory Problems
The memory Page displays may show one of the
following messages if a memory error is detected
when the desk is turned on.
Mode switch in any position.
Super User set up options have been
corrupted
The output Strobe / Full Level channel
memory has been corrupted
The DMX patch memory has been
corrupted
Lost Pattern - The sequence memories
have been corrupted
The MIDI lighting control data has been
corrupted
All these problems are likely to be transitory.
They may require a Super User Clear Memory
and/or Reset operation and some
reprogramming. Always keep a copy of important
shows on a Memory Card.

Hardware Problems
The Lightmaster XL will display ‘CR’ (crash) in
the Page display if the hardware is not operating
correctly. There are two types of crashes: those
that will allow some desk operations to proceed
despite the fault and those that prevent the desk
working completely.
Faults that allow desk operations to continue:

DMX transmission has failed

transmitted correctly
Eprom checksum not correct
(Faulty Eprom)
RAM testing has failed
(Faulty RAM)

Hardware Problems (Continued)
When a hardware problem is detected the desk
will stop but the outputs will stay at their previous
levels.
To continue after a hardware problem is
detected, press the Page +, Page - or Go buttons.
If the problem persists the desk will again be
halted until the hardware is repaired.
