USER OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
TO START OPERATION
1. Plug in the electrical plug and switch on.
2. The appliance is fitted with a temperature controller and the operating
temperature is pre-set to operate at -18°C. To change the preset to a
different fridge temperature push the SET Button twice. Use the
“UP”
“DN” buttons to select desired temperature. Push the SET button
once and finally push the FNC button once. Your desired
temperature has now been set.
TROUBLESHOOTING
IF THE APPLIANCE FAILS TO WORK:
Check the following points before calling for service:
1. That the instructions for starting the appliance have been followed.
2. The appliance is level.
5. If the appliance fails to work on 12/24V DC, check:
a) That the 12/24V supply is connected and switched on
IF THE APPLIANCE IS NOT COLD ENOUGH IT MAY BE BECAUSE:
1. The ventilation is inadequate. Allow at least 100mm around Back, sides, and
100mm above.
2. The evaporator is frosted up
– see Defrosting.
3. The ambient temperature is too high.
4. Too many products are loaded into the freezer at one time
– air must be
able to circulate freely.
5. The lid is not properly closed or the lid seal is defective.
