X
with two exceptions. First, an “X” is displayed on the key that was just defined. When
an “X” is displayed on a key, it indicates that the key has been defined. Second, the key
definition is now displayed in the Key Definition window.
A frequency select F1 key is the second key to be defined. Using the ARROW keys, position
the highlighted key to the key directly under the select key you just defined.
Next press
ENTER
and the KEY EDITING menu will be displayed.
Press
ENTER
again to select the define function.
A frequency select key is also a channel function, so select the CHANNEL FUNCTIONS
menu option. Now the channel selection windows appear.
Enter the digit 1 in the channel number field and press
ENTER
.
Move menu bar to the “B. Frequency Select” menu option and press
ENTER
.
Next the FREQUENCY SELECTION menu is displayed. To demonstrate the Move key
function, select frequency F2 rather than F1 and press
ENTER
.
The command to select the frequency that channel will use can be sent when this key is
pressed or when the channel is transmitted upon, or both. The SEND FUNCTION menu now
displayed allows you to select when the command is sent.
Select option A, B, or C and press
ENTER
.
