An existing page stack can be edited to some degree using selections B and C. To get
to the end of an existing stack to add another page, you must cycle through the three
screens shown in Figure D-22 through Figure D-24. Press ENTER or ESC to accept
the current values until the last window’s default selection shows “Done with Instant
Call” (option A). Select “Stack another page” (option B) instead to enter the new
page. If the page stack editing required is extensive, it may be easier to erase the
key’s programming (see the KEY EDITING menu, Figure D-5) and start over.

NTER
This paging function is used during manual page entry (via the console DTMF/paging
keypad) to terminate the entry and add the page to the stack. The use of this key is
only required for variable-length paging formats (i.e., DTMF). Fixed-length paging
formats (i.e., Two-Tone and Alerts) are self-terminating.

LEAR
If manual page entry (via the console DTMF/paging keypad) is in progress, this
function will abort the current key entry sequence and clear the paging display
without altering the existing page stack. If a page entry is not in progress, pressing
this key will delete all console page stacks. If a page transmission is in progress, it
will also immediately abort the page transmission. This function should always be
programmed if the Model 4010 console is to be used for paging.
