Appendix D. CPS Menu Structure
2) Destination
Two addresses may be decoded by the consoles. Normally the primary address is decoded by
all positions. Each position can then have its own unique secondary address allowing a
mobile to call a particular operator or console.
In the window shown in Figure D-46, select the 1- to 6-digit address for primary and
secondary. The timeout period is the maximum interval after a digit is received before the
ANI is considered complete. For manual entry of ANI digits, the timeout might be two to
three seconds with a maximum of 10 seconds.

Note:
The destination addresses will not be displayed. Only the last six digits following
the destination address will be displayed. If more than six digits follow during the
timeout period, the leading digits will be dropped.
E. Display Operation
The menu shown in Figure D-47 allows the display to show the time of day in 12-hour or 24-
hour format. Alternatively the display can show “------” (dashes) to prevent confusion with a
master site clock.

This function causes the display to show “-------” rather than time. This would normally be
used when a separate master clock is to be used for logging time.
2) 12-Hour Time
This function causes the time of day to be displayed in 12-hour format, (01-12).
3) 24-Hour Time
This function causes the time of day to be displayed in 24-hour format, (00-23).
