PROBLEM
POSSIBLE SOLUTIONS
The CellPhone Detector Plus
is not alarming on
transmissions.
Insufficient sensitivity;
turn the threshold setting to
FAR.
The cellular phone may not
actually be transmitting. See
“Auto-Registration ...” on
page 9.
Unit may be mounted to a
metal surface. Move it to a
non-metal location.
Unit is not powered up. Turn
on the power switch and press
the TEST/MUTE button.
Batteries are not installed or
have insufficient power.
Replace the batteries or use
an external DC power source.
The CellPhone Detector Plus
is alarming to transmissions
outside the intended coverage
area.
The sensitivity is set too high.
Turn the threshold setting
closer to NEAR.
The CellPhone Detector Plus
may be responding to cell-
phones or other transmitters
located outside the building or
on an adjacent floor. Re-
locate the unit.
CellPhone Detector Plus is
beeping upon alarm, but there
is no voice warning.
Move the VOICE I/O switch to
the UP position.
LED gives off a short blink
about every 24 seconds.
This indicates the CellPhone
Detector Plus is turned on and
operating properly.
