MZX Fire detection system
The 602SB Sounder Base may be used with or
without an associated detector. When used
with an associated detector, removal of any
detector or loss of power to the detection circuit
may cause the sounder to cease
operating. When used without an associated
detector, the wiring should be as shown in the
alternate wiring scheme. A cap Part No.
557.001.040.A.T.Y should be fitted in place of a
detector.
Features
The 602SB Sounder Base provides eight tone
and variable volume settings.
Wiring Notes
The following notes apply:
All wiring must conform to the current edition
of IEE Wiring Regulations and BS 5839 Part 1.
All wiring must be free of earths.
Setting Sounder Output
Options
The sounder outputs are set as follows:
Tone - using the 4-way DIL switch (Fig. 3 and
Table 2 refer).
Volume - using the trimmer tool (S/C No.
517.050.015) (Fig. 3 refers).
