7.2
USE OF ThE MIXER WITh ALGINATE
Do not activate the device without material inside the
container.
hurrimix
mixes the most common alginates;
recommended quantity 60g, max 80g. Do not exceed the
maximum permitted quantity to avoid malfunction.
The device guarantees the best results by using Zhermack
alginates.
Once it has been correctly installed and put into service, proceed
as follows:
Fig. 5: Press the program button (fig. A, 8) to scroll and select the
desired program in the Alginates section (fig.5, A). Mixing time can
be customised, by pressing buttons “+” (fig.A, 9) and “-” (fig.A,10).
Keep the button pressed for a fast scroll.
Fig. 6: Dose the alginate powder with a measuring cup as suggested
by the Manufacturer and pour it in the appropriate container of
alginate mixing.
Comply with the dosage indicated by the Manufacturer.
Fig. 7: Add the correct quantity of water, using the bottle with
graduated measuring cup (provided with).
Fig. 8: Slowly rotate the container with the mixture for a moment.
Fig. 9: Close the mixing container by pressing the cover and
then turning it clockwise until it locks in place.
It is important to carry out the pre-mixing manually, so
that the powder can be entirely absorbed by the water.
To prevent leakage of material, and malfunctions,
ensure that the cover of the container is closed properly
.
The mixing container is liable to wear and should be
replaced after a period of time.

mixing accelerates the setting time of the
mixture; use cold water to limit the phenomenon.
The device will stop automatically when the selected
mixing cycle finishes.

Use the provided spatula to collect easily the mixture from the
alginate container.
We strongly advise never mixing alginate then stone in
the same container as it may contaminate & impede the
setting.
It is recommended to remove the mixture from the
container as soon as possible.
7.3
USE OF ThE MIXER WITh PLASTER
Do not activate the device without material inside the
container.
hurrimix
mixes Zhermack Elite Dental Stones only;
recommended quantity 80g, max 100g. Do not exceed
the maximum permitted quantity to avoid malfunction.
Once it has been correctly installed and put into service, proceed
as follows:

desired program in the Dental Stones section (fig.13, B). Mixing
time can be customised, by pressing buttons “+” (fig.A, 9) and “-”
(fig.A,10).

ZhERMACK PRESET PROGRAMS
hurrimix
software has 20 mixing programs, divided as follows:
- alginate section: 10 programs, 7 of which are preset (specific for
Zhermack products) and 3 can be managed by the user.
- plaster section: 10 programs, 7 of which are preset (specific for
Zhermack products) and 3 can be managed by the user.
All programs can be modified by the user: By pressing
buttons “+” and “-”, the mixing time can be increased or
decreased (from a minimum of 2 to a maximum of 30
seconds).

DECLARED USE
hurrimix
mixer has been designed to mix alginates and plasters for
the dental industry.
6.8
NON-DECLARED/PROhIBITED USE
Using the equipment for any purpose not considered in
paragraph regarding “Declared use” shall be considered
improper and thus forbidden.
The improper use of the equipment renders the warranty
null and void and Zhermack Spa declines all liability for
any damage to objects and injury to operators or third
parties.
The main reasons for which the warranty is rendered null and
void are given in paragraph 2.2 and in the “Warranty Certificate”
attached to this Manual.
ChAPTER 7: USING ThE EqUIPMENT
7.1
GENERAL WARNINGS
For total certainty of safe operation, scrupulously follow
the work phases given below.
For greater clarity, the numbers stated in the figures
positioned near to the paragraph boxes correspond to
the numbering of the data in Chapter 3, regarding the
“Description of the equipment”.
To avoid the occurrence of any risks, pay attention to
avoid pouring water during the preparation on the
electrical voltage parts.
To avoid any interference, the equipment has been
projected to perform a mixing cycle every 3 minutes.
