CHAPTER 4: TECHNICAL FEATURES
4.1 TECHNICAL FEATURES AND FUNCTIONING PRINCIPLE
Zhermack creates qualitatively and technologically advanced work
instruments, in away that the user feels that they are made-to-measure his
everyday working requirements.
Zhermack uses state-of-the-art instruments in the design field when making
these products, thus ensuring maximum equipment functionality. The use
of top quality materials and performance of all inspections necessary for
operator safety guarantee Zhermack products, making them competitive
at a worldwide level.
The zeta sonic appliance functions on the principle of ultrasonic
cleaning, a procedure able to guarantee uniform in-depth cleaning.
The high frequency energy produced by the ultrasound generator is
transformed into mechanical energy by means of special piezoelectric
oscillation systems and then transferred to the cleaning solution.
This generates millions of minute air bubbles which are filled instantaneously
by the compressive action of the vibrating waves produced by the
ultrasound, in other words, they implode. The high energy currents (jets)
generated in the cleaning solution remove the dirt present on the surfaces,
reaching the most inaccessible recesses and invisible holes in the object to
be cleaned and/or disinfected.
Zeta sonic offers the following advantages:
• body made from hygienic easy-to-clean stainless steel and plastic handles
to move the appliance safely even when the body is hot;
• sweep function for optimum distribution of the ultrasound waves in the
cleaning solution;
• automatic and manual degas function to eliminate possible air bubbles
present in the cleaning solution and improve the efficiency of the
ultrasonic treatment;
• automatic mixing of the cleaning solution during heating;
• automatic ultrasonic cleaning (when the set temperature has been
reached);
• quick user-friendly display of all the parameters set;
• drain system for quick safe draining of the cleaning solution.
