For further maintenance the right hand side room air recirculation fan “A” needs to
be removed from its seat. The left hand side fan “B”does not need to be removed.
Cleaning the right hand side fan:
1. Loosen the 2 screws on each side of the right hand side fan. See picture 10.
2. Gently pull and rotate the fan housing from its seat and clean the fan blades with a
soft brush and a vacuum cleaner. See picture 11.

The left hand side fan can be reached without undoing further screws. Clean the fan
blades with a soft brush and a vacuum cleaner.
After cleaning carefully replace the parts.
d.3.6 cleaning the fume extraction fan
The fume extraction fan needs to be cleaned twice a year by a by Zibro authorized
technician. The fan will become very dirty because of ash and soot. If not regularly
inspected and cleaned by a by Zibro authorized installer chances are likely that lifetime
will be shorter, it will become unbalanced and will produce more noise.
1. Remove the side covers of the stove. See chapter D.3.2.
2. Remove the 4 screws from the front cover. See picture 12.
3. Remove the 4 bolts holding the fume extraction fan motor. See picture 13.
4. Break the sealant using a sharp tool for example with a screw driver. See picture 14.
5. Pull the motor with the rotor out. Clean the motor seat with a brass brush. Clean the
connection from the fan to the flue gas outlet. See picture 15.
6. Clean motor and fan combination gently with a brass brush and a vacuum cleaner.

7. After all cleaning is done, fit the fume gas fan again with LOCTITE 598 (or equal) to
make a airtight fit.
8. Replace the fan and motor and replace plate covering fume extraction fan.
