Installing the fluid connections
CAUTION:
Material damage due to unfiltered compressed air
Compressed air that is insufficiently or incorrectly filtered and lubricated can cause the failure of units and
pneumatic components resulting from the penetration of dust.
Ö
Select a suitable filter depending on the use of the product.
NOTICE:
Close off any unused pneumatic connections with suitable dummy plugs.
The authorized pneumatic connections that are available can be found in the accessories list, which is available
on our website. The necessary ordering information can also be found there.
Ö
Use compressed air in accordance with DIN ISO 8573-1 [3:4:3].
Ö
For operating pressures, please refer to the specifications.
You can obtain detailed information and corresponding supporting dimensions for your design from the
Technical Datasheet.
To optimally supply the product with the operational media, the media are transferred directly via the rear side interface of
the product.
Check the connection pressures and flow rates in accordance with specifications and design your mounting piece
accordingly.
9.7 Installing the cooling system
CAUTION:
Health hazard due to coolant/antifreeze
Ö
Coolant/antifreeze is dangerous to your health
Ö
Observe the manufacturer's safety instructions
Ö
Avoid skin contact
Ö
Wear personal protective equipment
Material damage if incorrect coolant media are used
The use of unsuitable or inadequate or incorrectly prepared coolant causes the failure of power units and
components.
Ö
Cavitation/corrosion damage
Additionally, heat insulating deposits develop on heat-transferring components, which can lead to excessive
heating and ultimately to motor failure.
Ö
While using the product, observe the information provided by the coolant manufacturer at all times.
Ö
While using the product, ensure a sufficient fill level of the cooling unit at all times.
Property damage from using cooling lubricants
Ö
Cooling lubricants must NOT be used!
NOTICE:
The coolant filtration must lie within the following range:
Ö
<100 μm
