13 Disassembly for decommissioning
This section describes how to disassemble the product from the superordinate machine or system.
The following work steps must be observed during disassembly:

Switch off the power supply of the machine or system (main switch).
►
Switch off the power supply to the product.
►
Disconnect the power supply lines from the product.
►
Remove the product from the mounting piece.

Ensure that the working environment is safe!

Use hoisting tools!

Wear personal protective equipment!
14 Decommissioning and disposal
INFORMATION:
When the product reaches the end of its operational phase, it can be completely disassembled and disposed of.
Completely disconnect the product from the power supply. The product can be disassembled and properly
disposed of according to material groups.
When disposing it, observe the locally applicable environmental regulations and codes and regulations for
disposal.
If it is not possible to properly disassemble and dispose the product, the product can also be sent back to
Zimmer GmbH.

15 Cleaning/preservation
NOTICE:
Dispose rags that have absorbed oil and grease in an environmentally responsible way!
When disposing them, observe the locally applicable environmental regulations and codes and regulations for
disposal.

Before preservation, clean the product to remove any dirt and dust.
►
The product must be thoroughly cleaned.
►
The complete product must be provided with corrosion protection.
