16 Storage

CAUTION:

Environmental damage due to escaping liquids

Environmentally harmful substances may escape during storage!
Environmentally harmful materials must not be permitted to enter the drinking water supply:

Ö

Take appropriate precautionary measures.

Ö

Comply with country-specific safety datasheets.

Ö

Dispose of liquids as special waste, even if only in small quantities.

Material damage if grease distribution run is not performed

If a unit has been idle for more than six months, a new grease-distribution run with thermal monitoring will be

necessary.

NOTICE:

The operator is responsible for storing the motor spindle properly.

Ö

The operator must provide for a sufficient storage area.

Ö

The original packaging must not be stacked.

The motor spindle must be stored in its original packaging or in a similar packaging variant in a closed and dry room that is

protected from the weather.

17 Recommissioning

Perform recommissioning in the same way as commissioning.

Carry out the necessary maintenance and overhaul tasks.

Crank the motor spindle once every six months or perform a grease distribution run for the motor spindle after a

standstill of more than six months (similar to commissioning).

18 Provision of spare parts

NOTICE:

Refer to the spare parts list for the corresponding spare parts.
Zimmer Customer Service is available to provide you with assistance if you have any further questions.

The motor spindle in its entirety is considered a spare part. The clamping set is excluded from this.
