10. Calibration and Alarms

Calibration

When in Balance Mode, if the ZIMX POWER moves forward or backward on its own on flat gound, it needs to be
calibrated, if the problem persists, please contact after-sales customer service.

To Calibrate the ZIMX POWER

Confirm that the hoverboard is in the off state and keep both side of the pedals parallel to the horizontal plane.

Make sure the hoverboard is turned off, press and hold the power switch for 5 seconds and then release it. When 
you hear a beep sound, the system starts to calibrate.

The red light (that is, the running indicator and the left turn indicator) flashes 3 times. Wait until the red light is 
on, the system calibration is complete, and you can should now turn it off and on again.

The unit will know be ready to use again. There is no limit to the amount of times you can do this calibration.

Self-balance

Manual adjustment: Place the unit horizontally - make sure the unit is turned on,press the power switch for about 
6 seconds, until you hear the beep, then restart the hoverboard, the adjustment complete.

 

Child mode / Adult mode

Manual adjustment: Stand up the ZIMX POWER, press the power button to turn it on - release the button - then
keep press. The button remains for about 6 seconds until the beep is heard and the balance hoverboard is restarted.

Alarm

a. Overheating Riding for an extended period of time could increase the internal temperature of your ZIMX POWER in 
excess of 122°F(50º C). If this happens, the glow lights will flash, and an alarm will sound and your ZIMX POWER will not
be able to charge. Simply step off the ZIMX POWER, power it off, and give it time to cool back down to a normal 
operating temperature.

b. High speed riding will cause a lift alarm, so please slow down so the alarm has stopped while riding.

c.  Other alarms.

For any other alarms, try restarting your ZIMX POWER. If the problem persists, please contact after-sales service.
