4.6 Fire Wall
The Broadband Router provides extensive firewall protection by restricting
connection parameters to limit the risk of hacker attack, and defending against a
wide array of common hacker attacks. The Broadband Router provides packet
filtering rules by restricting service ports, IP address or MAC address.
When finished making your changes on this screen, click the Save button to save
these changes.
4.6.1 MAC Filtering Configuration
You can block certain client PCs accessing the Internet based on MAC addresses.

Status.
You can choose to turn on or turn off the Mac filtering configuration by
click start/stop button.

If checked, the undefined item in MAC Address list is allowed to access Internet;
Unchecked means reverse, Click “Apply” to save the setting.

MAC Address.
Enter the toggled physical address that to be allowed or
forbidden to access the Internet by select “permit” or “deny” in the drop-down
menu. Then click “add” button to finish the setting.
NOTE:
Enter the 12-digit MAC address in this format, XX-XX-XX-XX-XX-XX, with the
hyphens.
