Lubricate the gearbox every 10-20 operating hours.

Storage
WARNIN G
Observe all safety precautions for the safe storage and handling of fuel/gasoline.
Store the machine in a dry, frost-proof and lockable place when not in use. Make sure that unauthorised
persons and especially children do not have access to the machine.
•
Clean the machine properly and apply anti-corrosion grease to the blade bar.
Please note that the fuel tank must be drained before storing the machine. To do this, proceed as follows:
•
Place the machine onto a flat, solid surface.
•
Unscrew the fuel filler cap and drain the fuel into a container approved for fuel.
•
Press the intake pump several times until fuel begins to empty the bulb.
•
Then drain the remaining fuel into the container.
•
Screw the fuel filler cap back on.
•
Remove the spark plug cover.
•
Remove the spark plug cap.
•
Clean any dirt from around the spark plug base.
•
Loosen the spark plug using the spark plug spanner.
•
Visually inspect the spark plug and remove carbon deposits
with a copper wire brush.
•
Pay attention to discolouration on the top of the spark plug.
The standard colour is tan.
•
Check electrode gap. This should be between 0,6 -0,7mm.
•
If necessary, change the spark plug.
•
Screw in the spark plug the first few turns by hand.
•
If it is tight, tighten the spark plug with the
spark plug
wrench
.
•
Refit spark plug cap and then reinstall the spark plug cover.
•
Clean the blades from resin and plant residues with a clean-
ing agent before and after operating the machine.
•
Before longer storage, apply anti-corrosion grease to the
blade bar.
•
Place the grease gun onto the lubrication nozzle (1).
•
Press some grease into the lubricating nozzle.
•
Use a multi-purpose grease of class NLGI 2 or an equivalent
product.
