Install Pipe

Locate where you would like the mailbox post to go and

using a sledge hammer, drive the pipe into the ground

approximately 18” (18 5/8“ above ground).

Please check level in both directions at about 6” intervals as

you pound the pipe into the ground. Usually, after the pipe is

about 12” into the ground, the trajectory of the pipe is

established and you cannot pull the pipe back into level.

With a helper, carefully lift the planter box assembly up and

over the pipe and place the mailbox post over the anchor pipe.
