Click the "Advanced (Y)..." button in the window. The window shown in Figure 5.8
appears.

On the "IP Settings" page, click the Add button in the "IP Address (R)" column. The
window shown in Figure 5.9 reappears.

Enter the content, and press the Add button. Press OK. Now you can communicate
with the CANET device.

Modify the local IP address
In the operating system, click "Start", "Settings", "Control Panel" on the taskbar (or
directly open "Control Panel" in "My Computer"), double-click "Network and Dial-up
Connections" (or "Network Connections" ). Select "Local Area Connection" corresponding
to the network card connected to the CANET device, right-click and choose "Properties".
