6.2.2.  POWER SUPPLYING OF A HOT WATER BOILER “PELLETHERM V.4 LT”.

The  boiler  must  be  connected  to the  electrical  installation,  by  observing  all  technical  safety
requirements. The boiler delivery kit includes power supply cable with connector.

The fuel hopper and the automated pellet burner from series “GP xx sc” must be filled with
pellets, in order to be transported by the auger to the burner zone.

6.2.3.  SWITCHING ON THE SYSTEM.

The system switching ON is performed through the switch “POWER”, positioned on the hot
water  pellet  boiler  from  series  “Pelletherm  V.4  LT”.  In  assignment for  operation,  defined  by
the  assigned  circulations  water  temperature  in  the  boiler  (and  by  the  assigned temperature
from a room thermostat – if connected), the automated pellet burner from series “GP xx sc”
activates  and  transits  to  standby  mode  –  pressing  the  switch  “START”  to  ON  position  will
start  it.  In  case  the  switch  “START”  has  been  already  in  position  ON  the  pellet  burner  will
instantly start. If the system has been operated (or is in the so called “hot reserve”), but the
power  supply  has  been  interrupted, then the  system  will  start  automatically  after the  power
supply has been restored.

During initial ignition of the pellet burner and insufficient chimney draught (for
example when the chimney height is not enough or is dirty), smoking from the
cover panels over the boiler’s combustion chamber and convection zone
might occur and/or from the combustion chamber’s door. Therefore it is
recommended to check the closing and sealing of the boiler’s doors and
cover panels, and also to check the chimney condition. The same effect might
occur during the transition seasons – autumn and spring, when the natural
chimney draught is decreased, due to high ambient temperatures.

If the primary (ignition) fuel doze is adjusted incorrectly, smoking through the
boiler’s unsealed parts might occur. In such cases it is necessary to readjust
the ignition fuel doze of the pellet burner –

to be performed by a servicing

technician.

During the fuel ignition a module activates – electrical heater, positioned
under the tilted fire-grate of the pellet burner. This heating element heats the
fuel until it ignites as the presence of fire is indicated by the burner’s photic
sensor. Detailed information about the construction and operation of the pellet
burner from series “GP xx sc” is presented in its manual book.

The automated pellet burner from series “GP xx sc” operates through a
preliminary set algorithm, that is programmed through a specialized software,
installed in the burner’s control module. The operational parameters of the
burner must be adjusted only by a trained servicing technician.

6.2.4.  BOILER’S OPERATIONAL PARAMETERS ADJUSTMENT.

The operation mode of the hot water pellet boiler from series “Pelletherm V.4 LT” is directly
defined by the burner’s control module, defining the assigned circulations water temperature
in  the  boiler.  The  boiler’s  inlet  circulations  water  temperature  (return  water)  also  influences
the system operation mode, its reliability and efficiency.

The manufacture company guarantees efficient and reliable operation of the
system: a hot water pellet boiler from series “Pelletherm V.4 LT” and an
automated pellet burner from series “GP xx sc”, ONLY within the system’s
operation range, as presented in Table 4.1 from the manual book.
