6.9.

SAFETY AND UNPREDICTED RISKS.

RISKS FROM USAGE OF THE SYSTEM.

The modules of the system – a hot water pellet boiler from series “Pelletherm V.4 LT” and an
automated  pellet  burner  from  series  “GP  xx  sc”  are  designed  and  manufactured  in
compliance  with  the  main  safety  requirements  of  the  acting  European  standards  and
provisions. Dangerous conditions might occur in the following situations:

  The hot water pellet boiler from series “Pelletherm V.4 LT” has been used incorrectly;
  The automated pellet burner from series “GP xx sc” has been used incorrectly;
  The system has been installed by unqualified staff;
  The guides for safe usage, presented in this manual book, have not been observed;
  The  guides  for  safe  usage  of  the  automated  pellet  burner,  presented  in  its  manual

book, have not been observed.

UNPREDICTED RISKS.

The  modules  of the  system  (hot  water  pellet  boiler from  series  “Pelletherm  V.4  LT”  and  an
automated  pellet  burner  from  series  “GP  xx  sc”)  are  designed  and  manufactured  in
compliance  with  the  acting  safety  standards.  Although  all  possible  risky  situations  are
preliminary considered, resulting from incorrect operation, the following might occur:

  Risks  from  burning,  caused  by  high  temperatures  from  the  burning  process  in  the

combustion chamber and/or by access to its door. Also by access to the covers of the
combustion  and  the  convection  chambers,  as  well  as  during  cleaning  of  the  ash
residues in the burner’s zone or by incompletely burned fuel in the ash  container of
the hot water pellet boiler;

  Risks  from  electrical  shock  by  indirect  contact.  The  boiler  and  the  burner  are

connected to the power supply network and the control modules are positioned in the
interface  panel  of  the  boiler  and  in  the  burner’s  controller,  all  equipped  with  the
necessary  components  for  overload  and  short  circuit  protection.  The  ground
connection  of  all  modules  connected  to  the  electrical  network  are  mandatory  and
must be performed by an authorized technician;

  Risk from fingers injuries during opening or closing and cleaning. It is recommended

to use proper individual protection equipment;

  Risk  from  strangulation  in  case  of  insufficient  chimney  draught,  clogging  of  the

boiler’s  flue  tract  or  improper  sealing  of  its  cover  panels,  doors  and  others,  through
which the flue gasses, separated by the operating burner, could flow out.

6.10.  COMPLETION OF THE APPLIANCE WARRANTY CARD.

The attached WARRANTY CARD must be completed by filling the required
information in its fields, as the signature and stamp fields must be
completed too, in order to ensure the WARRANTY CARD VALIDITY of the
hot water pellet boiler from series “Pelletherm V.4 LT” and of the automated
pellet burner from series “GP xx sc”.

The automated pellet burner from series “GP xx sc” is delivered with its own
warranty card, which also has to be fully completed.

6.11.  ACTIONS AFTER EXPIRATION OF THE SYSTEM’S LIFE CYCLE.

After  expiry  of  the  system’s  modules  life  cycle,  their  termination  must  be  environmentally
friendly and protective. For that purpose the system has to be disassembled, its modules and
components  have  to  be  delivered  to  waste  disposal  offices,  by  observing  the  principles  for
separate collection of wastes.
