Obtaining Blood Samples (continued)

U.S. CUSTOMER CARE

 1-888-963-8471

CAUTION

If you accidentally stab or scratch yourself with the lancet, follow basic first aid procedures.
If bleeding persists, contact your local healthcare professional.

Prepare the lancing device and puncture the test site

Optional: a thin layer of petroleum jelly may be applied to the test site prior to lancing. This
can help the blood form a droplet without getting into the hair. The AlphaTrak 3 lancing
device may be used to help obtaining a blood sample.

For more information on the lancing

device follow the instructions included in your AlphaTrak 3 Starter Kit (Quick Start Guide).
