Press and hold the
On/Off
button for at least 5 seconds
to perform a self-test.
Verify that the defibrillation
pads cable is properly plugged
into the patient cable
connector. Replace the
defibrillation pads.
If the AED continues to
fail, remove it from ser-
vice and contact ZOLL
Technical Service.
UNIT FAILED
Turn the AED off and then
press and hold the
On/Off
button for at least 5 seconds
to perform a self-test.
Verify that the defibrillation
pads cable is properly plugged
into the patient cable
connector. Replace the
defibrillation pads.
If the AED continues to
fail, remove it from ser-
vice and contact ZOLL
Technical Service.
Beeping noise when AED
is off.
Verify that the defibrillation
pads cable is properly plugged
into the patient cable
connector.
Hold the
On/Off
button for at
least 5 seconds to perform a
self-test. Verify that a green
check appears in the status
indicator window.
If the AED continues to
beep, remove it from
service and contact ZOLL
Technical Service.
CHANGE BATTERY
Replace the battery pack.
If the message persists,
remove the AED from
service and contact ZOLL
Technical Service.
PLUG IN PADS CABLE
Ensure that the
defibrillation
pads
cable is properly plugged
into the patient cable connector.
If the message persists,
remove the AED from
service and contact ZOLL
Technical Service.
CHECK PADS
Reattach pads.
If the message persists,
attach new pads.
ANALYSIS HALTED;
KEEP PATIENT STILL
Keep the patient still during ECG
analysis. If transporting the
patient by stretcher or vehicle,
stop all patient movement
during analysis.
If the message persists,
remove the AED from
service and contact ZOLL
Technical Service.
NO SHOCK DELIVERED
The Shock button was not
pressed or an internal error
occurred.
When prompted to press the
button, do so within 30 seconds.
If an internal error
occurred (no shock was
delivered when the Shock
button was pressed
properly), remove the
AED from service and
contact ZOLL Technical
Service.
