4.3.5.2 Setup of Contact Inputs
This area of configuration is intended to be used as a tool for quickly setting up the Alarm Status field
seen in the Contact Alarms menu. (See section 4.3.3.2)
Use the MONITOR key to manoeuvre through the menu and the ENTER key to toggle between ‘O’,
‘C’ and ‘ ‘ (Normally Open, Normally Closed and Off).
4.3.5.3 Number Of Keyboards
This option defines the number of keyboards polled by the Matrix.
Generally, keyboard MAC numbers must lie within the range ‘01’ and ‘08’.
If the Keyboards is set to 4, the matrix will poll four keyboards with the MAC numbers ‘01’, ‘02’, ‘03’
and ‘04’.
4.3.5.4 Control Time-out
If the
Control Time-out
feature is enabled, keyboards are forced to relinquish control after the
specified period of time of inactivity.
This option can be switched OFF by entering a value of 0 or ON by entering a value in the range 1 to
99 minutes.
