Setting the bevel angle
Loosen the two fi nger screws (12), and
tilt the cutting unit to the required angle
shown on the angle gauge (18) (fi g. B13).
The angle can be freely adjusted from 90°
(vertical cut) to 45°.
Setting the mitre angle
Adjust the mitre guide (6) in relation to the
rest (7) (fi g. B14).
Use
Note! The cooling water pump must not be
used when the tank is empty of water.
Place the tile on the work bench with the
reverse facing upwards.
Switch the machine on. Allow the blade
to reach maximum speed. Check that the
cooling water pump is pumping water
through to the blade.
Push the blade forward through the
workpiece in an even movement. Do not
put pressure on the blade. Simply allow it to
work its way through the workpiece.
Switch the machine off . Remove any tile
scraps when the blade has come to a
complete stop.
Drain the water into a suitable container
after use by removing the plug (23) from
the water tank.
Replacing the blade
Use protective gloves.
Switch the machine off and disconnect it
from the mains.
Remove the three screws on the protective
guard (10) and remove it (fi g. B11).
Place the ring spanner (20) on the lock nut
(shown as A in fi g. B15).
Place the spanner (21) on the axle (shown as
B in fi g. B15).
Remove the lock nut by holding the
spanner securely and turning the ring
spanner anti-clockwise.
