Focus Lock Function:
The focus lock feature is useful when
you do not want the Mars HD to readjust focus based on
movement beneath the camera, such as when you are writing.
To activate the focus lock, press and hold the Freeze button
until you hear a beep, then release it. The Focus Lock icon
will appear on the top left corner of the screen.
NOTE: When the focus lock function active, you can still
adjust the focus manually with the Zoom knob.

Exiting Focus Lock Function:
Press and hold the Freeze
button
, releasing it after you hear one beep. The Focus
Lock icon will disappear and the unit will go back to autofocus.

Color Mode Function
: Press the Color Mode button
to
switch between your four color mode favorites and full color
mode.

Factory Reset:
Press and hold both the Mode button
and the Find button
for 10 seconds to restore the Mars
HD to its original factory settings.

Viewing Modes:
To change the viewing mode, simply rotate
the camera. There are three types of viewing modes:
Reading view
Distance view
Self view
