7. Troubleshooting
No power to the unit

Press and hold the Power button. If the indicator light is not on,
please use the power adapter to charge the battery.
●
If the power adapter is connected but the battery is not charging,
please make sure that the outlet has power and that the plug is
fully inserted into the outlet.
USB connection failed
●
If the Mars HD is connected to your PC or Mac with a USB cable
and the ZoomaxViewer software is open but there is no image on
the screen, please check whether you have connected the unit
with your PC or Mac and powered it on in the correct order. (Refer
to page 21 for PC instructions and page 26 for Mac instructions if
you are not sure how to do this.)
Image on the screen is not clear

Clean the screen and/or camera lens with a soft, dry cleaning
cloth.

If there are shadows on the image, try moving the unit to a more
shaded area.
●
Adjust the distance of the Mars HD from your reading material as
needed to improve the image quality.
