Activate the text-to-speech setting menu
1. Press and hold the Mode button for 3 seconds to activate the speech setting menu
(the first class setting page) shown as figure on page 41.
2. Press “+” button or “-” button to cycle through the four items.

Before using the text-to-speech function, please enter the setting menu to set up the
language, voice speed, voice and volume first.
NOTE:
If you want to change the setting during the reading period, please short
press the Freeze button to exit, and then enter setting menu for setting.
Please choose the language same as the language on the document you want to
read. Otherwise the function can’t be performed properly and the result may be
garbled text or “Not found”.
