6.13 Using the Speech function
The Snow S provides users with the option to use
the OCR (Optical Character Recognition)/ TTS
(Text-to-speech) feature. Your Snow S can
recognize the captured text and read it aloud.
It is better to use the OCR/TTS function to
recognize and read labels, business cards, pill
bottles which have less content.
Using steps:
Step 1: In real time mode, zoom all the way in
to the largest magnification, then press and
hold the “
+
” button for 5s until you hear a beep
sound, the language menu will appear on the
screen. Press “+” and “
-
” to browse among the
options, and press the Mode button to confirm
your choice. After your selection confirmed,
the screen will display “setting successfully”
