Setting Up Your Phone for the First Time
When you first switch on your phone (or if you’ve reset it to Factory Settings)
you need to select some settings before you can use it.
1. Insert your UIM card and switch on your phone.
2. Tap the android image on the screen to begin. You can select to change
the language or make an emergency call.
3. Follow the on-screen instructions to continue. You can select to view the
tutorial on how to use your phone, set up your Google account and set
Google location service.
4. The Home Screen appears when all settings are finished.
Note:
It’s recommended to create or sign in a Google account on your phone.
If you forget the screen unlock pattern, you can use the Google account to
unlock your phone (see page 105).
