General:
In
General
tab, you can set the Home page:
Use Current
or
Use Default.
Also, you can select the Encoding among Western European, Greek (ISO), Turkish
(Windows), etc.
Memory:
Tap
Clear History
to delete the saved links visited in the past days. Tap
the arrows to set the days you want. Tap
Delete Files
to delete the web content
that has been previously viewed or synchronized with the device.
Security:
Tap
Clear Cookies
to clear the saved cookies in the device. Select a
checkbox to configure your Security settings.
Tip:
To prevent Internet Explorer Mobile from accepting any cookies, clear the
Allow cookies
check box.
Note:
When you browse the Internet, web pages and pictures will be cached in
your phone’s memory. This will allow quick access in the future. These are
temporary files. Deleting these files can effectively increase the memory on the
phone. Cookies are files of personal information and actions recorded by the
website. Deleted cookies cannot be restored.

Internet Sharing
With Internet Sharing, you can use your phone as an external modem for another device
such as a PDA or laptop.
Note:
Make sure that you have installed a (U)SIM card, and set up a GPRS or Dial-up
connection. If your phone has not been set up with a data connection yet, tap
>Programs>Internet Sharing
and then select
Menu > Connection Settings
to
configure first. See

Use the device to connect your PC to the Internet
If your device has a data connection plan, your PC can use the device to connect the Internet.
1. Make sure that your data connection is running, and that you can access the Internet
from the device.
